AFT Whizz Wheel Trencher
An all-round, compact, versatile trencher.
The AFT whiz wheel 55 is a wheeled trencher that mounts onto a Cat.2 three point linkage. The wheel is PTO driven, requiring a minimum 90hp tractor fitted with a creeper gear. The whiz wheel 55 trencher can trench to a depth of 55cm, the crumber cleaning the trench as it progresses. Trenching widths vary from 50 to 125mm; depending on the teeth used (we will set the machine up to your requirements). The whiz wheel trencher has 10 teeth mounted on the wheel. We usually set the wheel up with a combination of hardened tungsten carbide teeth and standard teeth to prolong life, reduce downtime and to cope with harder or compacted substrates.
The trencher is also equipped with a hydraulic conveyer for removal of the excavated material.
The depth control on the trencher is also operated on a hydraulic circuit controlled from the parent machine.
